Trading Rules
Last updated: February 2026
These rules define the trading conditions and risk parameters applicable to Proptis evaluation programs.
Failure to comply may result in account termination and loss of eligibility for rewards.
1. Maximum Daily Drawdown
The Maximum Daily Drawdown represents the largest loss permitted within a single trading day.
If the account equity or balance falls below the daily threshold, the account will be considered in breach.
The daily drawdown is calculated based on the highest equity of the day.
2. Maximum Overall Drawdown
The Maximum Overall Drawdown defines the maximum total loss allowed from the initial account balance.
If this limit is exceeded at any time, the account will be terminated.
3. Profit Target
Some evaluation programs require reaching a predefined profit target to successfully complete a phase.
The target percentage is displayed before purchase and inside your dashboard.
4. Minimum Trading Days
Certain programs may require a minimum number of trading days before completion.
A trading day is defined as a day with at least one executed trade.
5. Consistency & Risk Management
Traders are expected to maintain consistent risk management. Excessive risk concentration,
erratic position sizing, or behavior deemed abusive may result in review.
6. Prohibited Strategies
The following practices are strictly prohibited:
- Latency arbitrage or exploitation of platform delays
- Exploiting pricing errors or technical vulnerabilities
- Account sharing or third-party account management (unless explicitly allowed)
- Using automated tools designed to manipulate simulated environments
- Any activity considered fraudulent or abusive
7. News Trading & Holding Positions
Rules regarding trading during high-impact news events, holding trades overnight,
or holding over weekends depend on the specific program selected.
Always refer to your dashboard for the exact conditions applicable to your account type.
8. Account Breach
If any rule is violated, the account will be considered breached and may be terminated immediately.
Once breached, the evaluation cannot be resumed.
9. Monitoring & Review
Proptis reserves the right to review trading activity to ensure compliance with rules and to prevent abuse.
Internal review decisions are final.
